YES Hostel has a kitchen guests can use and a lovely garden, and the rooms are a decent size. It’s also doing good work for a good cause. Getting to the centre takes about a 7-minute boda ride or a 20-minute walk. Fort Portal is well worth visiting for its special atmosphere, the beautiful Rwenzori mountains, and all there is to do.

Clean, quiet, spacious, and fairly priced, with lovely staff and a cute cat called Jinja. It’s a 6-minute boda boda (motobike) ride into town. Finding a boda boda from the hostel is easy, just head to the street and walk a little.

The staff are nice and try to give people as much personal space as they can in the dorms. It’s a bit out of town, which could be a plus or a minus depending on what you want. The bathroom and shower area could use an upgrade.

We had a lovely time at yes hostel. Everything was very clean, and the rooms were really nice. They also have delicious food available, with the menu on their website. It’s around a 25/30-minute walk into town or a 2000 boda ride. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hostel.
