New Court View Hotel

I only stayed one night at New Courtview Hotel, but had a really good time. The room was comfortable, the staff were punctual, and the hotel is close to the rest of Masindi. The food service cost more than I'd hoped, and the power went out for a while. I know outages are common across the country, though, and otherwise I had no issues.

The team made us feel welcome, and the price seemed fair. I liked the rooms: they're laid out conveniently and have what you need without being too fancy. It's at one end of the main road, which makes it handy for getting around. Trucks and buses can be noisy at night, but the location is practical.

New Court View Hotel has its own thatched cottages in nicely kept gardens. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable, with hot showers and dependable electricity. The restaurant serves both European and African dishes, and guests have praised the food, though service can be slow sometimes. Staff are often described as friendly and attentive, and there's free Wi-Fi and parking, along with a terrace and garden. Being near the main road is convenient, but some guests hear traffic. Furnishings and bathroom fittings could use an update. Still, it offers good value for a stop on the way to Murchison Falls National Park, and its setting and welcoming staff make it a popular Masindi choice.

We loved how cozy and comfortable our room was, and the shower and other facilities were nice. Everything was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Shops and some nice restaurants are an easy walk away. My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights, and the staff were kind and welcoming from the start. They helped arrange a game or safari drive and other outings, and were just as hospitable in the restaurant each evening. The power went out briefly overnight, then was back by morning. I think that's common. Everything else was amazing, and I'll definitely be back, Lord willing!
