Good rooms, appealing prices, and a great view over the city.

For an affordable stay in Mbale, Bills Motel was comfortable, with cozy rooms and friendly staff. It was a plus having places like First Baptist Church and Nasenyi Synagogue nearby. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option.

The place is good and cheap, for sure, but there are thieves. I’m not sure if it was the cleaners or the receptionist who gets the key when you go out for food, but someone took my 200€ on my last day in Uganda. I only realized when I was already at the airport.

I’d stayed there twice before and liked the rooms. This time, I booked with my colleagues, but when we arrived at night there were no rooms. I was completely disappointed with the management, since they’d assured us we would have rooms.

Bills motel is in Mbale city, away from the noise of a busy city. The accommodation is up to standard, hospitality is great, and the services are customer-friendly in terms of price.
