We stayed a night or two while in town, and it was decent for that. The shower water kept switching from warm to cold, which was frustrating. Breakfast wasn't for me either, especially the poor tea and coffee. They brought a cot for our baby, but it was so dusty we couldn't use it.

The place was kept exceptionally clean, and the cool weather meant I didn't need air conditioning. I couldn't tell whether it was only my room, but there wasn't a water heater there. Towels and bar soap were provided; bring anything else you might need. There is no lift, and the phones don't work, so handle any calls or messages at reception before heading upstairs. WiFi was usable on the lower floors but the signal dropped out at the top. I didn't stay long. Uganda was entirely new to me, from the climate and food to the friendly people. It's not a bad place to end up.

Service should be the same for everyone, whether local or foreign. The outside could use some fresh ideas, even if the wall color stays as it is. And pizzas need to come out on time.
