The slogan says “Feel the Kash Touch,” and that's what this place is about. It's the feeling the hotel gives you, beyond Michelin-starred chefs or perfectly made beds. Such a cool spot to chill in Mbarara. All five star!

The breakfast is hearty and good, and you can get beer and food either in the cafeteria or in your room. It's in the town center, with nice tiled rooms for singles, couples, and families with kids. Some rooms have wood-style tiling and a balcony. The parking area is a bit small but secure, and they take both cash and Visa.

There's 24-hour armed police security at the hotel, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. The Front Office staff are very friendly, and the restaurant's hospitality staff are courteous. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone in Mbarara. The TV in the room only gets one channel, though, so that needs work.

This place has a bit of old-time charm and is nicely kept. I stayed several nights and would come back. The staff are nice and happy to accommodate menu requests. Breakfast is fine, and the food selection is limited but okay, though there's no fresh coffee. There's no proper place to lounge with friends, so you're always sitting around a dining table. I'd give it four or five stars for the price, closer to two for features and comfort. I'm sad to give it two stars on that basis, but for value for money I'm giving it four.
