We were traveling as a Ugandan family and took care of our own meals, which the staff were very accommodating about. Shamilah was hands-on and kept checking whether we needed any help, while Jovan helped with everything we asked for. When our car had trouble, they gave us a ride to the top of the falls at no charge, apart from the fuel. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and everyone was friendly, polite, and welcoming. We visited Savannah lodge two weeks ago and had a great stay.

Monkeys occasionally jumped around, and the whole place had such a warm, friendly feel. The owner and staff welcomed us so warmly that they felt like family. Our room had electricity and good mosquito nets. We had a wonderful time at the Savannah lodge and would definitely recommend it and come back.

We had a three-course dinner with vegetarian choices, followed by a traditional dance performance around the campfire that we could join. Breakfast came with juice, fruit, and eggs, and the staff also helped us arrange a boat tour. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome made us feel comfortable. Our room was clean with a big bed, and the peaceful atmosphere meant we slept well. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would come back. Thank you!

The staff member who worked there was exceptionally friendly and helped us arrange a boat tour on the Nile and our entry into the national park. We spent one night at Savannah lodge in a clean, fairly spacious room, and the place was calm and peaceful. Dinner was delicious, a three-course menu for around $10. Breakfast was included and very nice too. I’d recommend it to everyone.
