The bungalow was spacious and thoughtfully put together, and the hosts gave us such a warm welcome with a nature walk. We saw plenty of animals and even caught a beautiful sunset. It’s just a 30-minute boat ride from Kampala, yet so peaceful, surrounded by wonderful nature. The food was sensational and the hosts charming. For quiet, nature, real conversation, and an authentic stay, this place feels like paradise.

My wife and some friends had a lovely Easter weekend there in 2024. The friendly owners, clean rooms, and beautiful forest around the property made it a great break. It’s affordable and well located for a quick getaway.

The rock garden was the highlight for me. Sitting beside the water there felt incredibly peaceful, and the place has lots of activities. The owners care about protecting nature and try to teach guests about it too. The setting is beautiful, but customer care really needs work. The service was getting close to poor.

There’s a wide bay view, cool air, and lovely natural sights and sounds, with ambient lighting in the evening. The nature preservation is great. I liked the chipped stone paths, colourful rose gardens, water lilies, resorts, and sandy beaches. We had a hearty grilled fish platter with a fruity lemon flavour, soft airy corn, and sweet, light green African herbal tea. The wooden cabins are cozy and open to the warm, cool air. Deep blue lake views, monkeys, and canoeing round it all out.
