I got a full night of rest and recovery in the very comfortable cottages. It’s in Fortportal City, Uganda, Africa, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The grounds are beautifully set above the Ruwenzori Mountain Ranges, and many tourist spots in and around Fort Portal are nearby. From the gate onward, everyone was warm and friendly, and the resort was spotless and welcoming. The services were top notch, and the peaceful atmosphere was amazing, almost like the Garden of Eden must have been here. I highly recommend ATACO Country Resort as a must visit for any keen traveller.

The greenery and butterflies were lovely to take in while relaxing in a hammock, and the exterior was breathtaking. My room was cosy and comfortable, and the staff kept it clean. The chef made fresh, tasty local meals throughout my stay. I was impressed by the children's area at the front and the volleyball net at the back. There’s also an adults swimming pool, but I didn’t get to use it. I should have brought my bathing suit! I had an amazing few days and will return when I’m in Uganda again. Thanks ATACO Country Resort for accommodating me, I highly recommend it.

The gardens are expansive, the view is great, and it’s cool, quiet, with fresh air. I actually got to rest properly. It feels a little old school, but there’s lots of potential to improve. I’ll definitely stay again.

The place felt private, cosy and homely, and the staff were friendly. Rooms are well done, the swimming pool is good, and the food is good too. I enjoyed myself immensely. It was a splendid trip.
