Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge

The Lodge is built into the landscape, so there are quite a few stairs. That gives each suite a very private, tucked away feel, and the grounds have spectacular views. It was part of the charm for us, though worth knowing if mobility is a concern. The team was always willing to help. The staff made the whole stay special. They helped with our eyecare mission project in the local community and coordinated our gorilla tracking day so smoothly that it was stress-free. They were warm, attentive, and professional throughout. We loved the food, too. There was lots of tasty variety, every meal felt carefully prepared, and there was something for everyone. The property felt luxurious but still personal. We had coffee on our room deck each morning looking out at breathtaking scenery, then came back in the evenings to a cozy fire prepared for us. My husband and I had an incredible stay at this unique place, and we hope to return.

The help with our eyecare project and the coordination of our gorilla trekking in the Bwindi forest meant a lot to our team. That trek will stay with us for life, and the grand finale BBQ with local entertainment made our memories even better. The hospitality, from the restaurant staff to the greeters and room attendants, was heartfelt. Our room was lovely, and the evening fire and hot water bottle were a special treat. Thank you for a memorable stay at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge.

The location alone made the trip worthwhile, with such breathtaking scenery and a real sense of peace and connection with nature. At Nkuringo Lodge, our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details that made it feel like home. The whole team showed genuine care, and the service was warm, attentive, and professional. Isaac and Bernard were especially kind and gave us royal treatment. Friday and Emma were always attentive and wonderfully professional. Morris, Morinne, and Mr. Joel also brought so much warmth to our stay. A heartfelt thanks to all of them for making it unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for more, and we'll happily recommend Nkuringo Lodge. We can't wait to return!

We spent two nights at Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge on our self-driving trip through Uganda, and the whole place felt like a dream from the start. The team pampered us throughout our stay, beginning with a relaxing hand massage. Friday's restaurant service and Amos's room service were excellent. Their professional help was matched by genuinely friendly, warm conversations that made us feel at home. Florence from the back-office team also deserves a mention: she sorted our last-minute rebooking, including the gorilla permits, smoothly within a few hours. A heartfelt thanks to the whole Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge team. We hope to come back one day.
