The bar and restaurant by reception were the weak spot for me. The space lacked atmosphere and comfort, the menu was limited for the high prices, and the food was average at best. Service at the bar could be slow. There is a small shop for essentials, though, and the prices seemed reasonable for the convenience. My one room issue was the frosted glass between the bathroom and bedroom. It looks modern, but if you’re sharing and someone uses the bathroom at night, the light fills the whole room. It seems better suited to solo guests. Otherwise, this is a very comfortable hotel, and I’d recommend it if you want somewhere clean and contemporary. I’ve stayed a couple of times and will come back. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the facilities make for a good night’s sleep. Check-in is quick and friendly, and the lifts reach all five floors quickly. Some rooms have a partial view of the airport, but other buildings block what could be a great outlook. Whichever side you’re on, there’s little outside noise. The bed is large, with sockets, lighting controls and a reading light on both sides, and the TV opposite is a good size. There’s a roomy desk with an office-style chair, plenty of wardrobe space, and an iron and board. The window opens a little, and the air conditioning works well without being too loud. The bathroom is as modern and spotless as the main room. The walk-in shower is spacious, with good quality bottled toiletries, soft towels and plenty of them. There are a couple of lighting options too.
