We spent four nights here for a family wedding at the hotel, and everything went smoothly from beginning to end. The wedding itself was hitch-free thanks to the staff. Every person we dealt with was polite, friendly and efficient, and there were a lot of them. The food throughout was outstanding; the haggis, neeps and tatties were the best I've ever had. The restaurant and bar were very good, and our clean rooms had modern en-suite facilities. The floorboards creaked a little, but it's an older building, so that happens. There's a good location with plenty of buses into the city. We had an excellent stay at the Palm Court.

After a close friend's funeral, we were invited here and received a warm, polite welcome. They had no plant milk, but when young waitress Caitlin realised, she kindly went to the local shop to get some for me. I don't eat animal products, so her thoughtfulness and compassion meant a lot. Thank you so much.

Our Christmas staff night out in December was incredible. The food was top class, and having the private room made it feel cosy. The team even provided a speaker for music. Everyone was attentive and polite. Thanks, guys 🫶🏼

The woman who checked my friend and me in a few weeks ago was such a lovely person to talk to, as well as hilarious and helpful. I wish I could remember her name. Our room was nice, the bed was comfy, and breakfast was exceptional.

The receptionist is a star. I got a great night's sleep in a really comfortable bed, and even though there were weddings both nights, we couldn't hear a thing from our room. This was my second stay, and I'd definitely return for how well I sleep here. The room was missing a mini fridge and the TV didn't have WiFi, though.
