Sandman Signature Aberdeen Hotel

We met friends who were staying at the hotel and had a lovely meal on Saturday night. The haddock and brownie were delicious, and both men had rare sirloin steak, which I’ll try next time. The atmosphere was buzzing and the service was great. Elena was really friendly and we had some fun banter with her. We’ll definitely be back.

It was my first spa treatment today, and I was nervous, but Leanne made me feel at ease right away. She was a vibrant, lovely therapist and stayed warm, friendly and professional throughout. She explained everything clearly, and I felt comfortable and cared for from start to finish. The treatment was relaxing and exciting at the same time. The spa itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in. It smelled amazing too, adding to the calming feel. This is the start of many more visits for me!

The rooms were stylish and comfortable, and we enjoyed food and drinks at the adjoining Chop restaurant. My friend and I booked a girls’ getaway weekend in January and had such a fantastic time that we’ve already agreed to come back next year. The service throughout was exceptional, from reception and the restaurant, especially the Spa team. My highlight was the spa. Liam looked after us and thoughtfully tailored our massages and advice. We were both astounded by the care he took. It was the best massage I’ve ever had, and I was grateful for how much it helped the nerve pain I’d been having in my shoulder over the following days. Thanks to everyone who made the stay so wonderful. We’re looking forward to returning.

We had a deluxe suite after our spa session, and it was modern, beautifully decorated and very spacious. The receptionist knew it was my daughter’s birthday and sent a lovely gesture of Prosecco to the room. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Aberdeen city centre. It doesn’t have a swimming pool, which means the spa area stays private, without hotel guests coming and going for a swim. I booked spa time for myself and my daughters, and Spa manager Liam was very helpful, arranging for us to go in together. The ladies gave us a wonderful, holistic experience where we could unwind in complete privacy, with no one else around. We used the Infa red sauna, steam room and relaxation room, then had wonderful treatments. Casey gave me a lovely massage. The facilities are really modern and clean. We didn’t eat at the hotel or have breakfast, as we went out. The spa often has great offers if you contact them directly.
