That seagull is the only photo I somehow managed to take on the trip, a proper jakey one. The hotel itself is brilliant. I’ve stayed twice now, in two different apartments, and both were comfy, warm, quiet and clean, with a good shower. We always have a great time there, and the staff are so kind and attentive. It’s right in town too, with plenty to do.

A really handy base in the middle of Aberdeen, with a nice outdoor bar and good drink deals. The staff were very friendly, and it seems a good choice for a stag or hen stay.

The shared kitchen was comfortable, with free coffee and a microwave, though there wasn’t a fridge for guests. We had to tuck our little carton of milk away at the back of the staff fridge. We were comfortable during our few nights there, and I loved having two pillows each. The bath was really long too, perfect for stretching out in hot water after a day of sightseeing.

Had a fun time in this lovely bar. The atmosphere was good and the music was too. But the same cocktail cost two different amounts, and it was made differently depending on who served it, with one version missing a shot. It felt as though the service and standards depended on which staff member you got.
