Quiet surroundings, a clean room with all the amenities I needed, and the staff even helped with my luggage. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. I also really liked the body wash and shampoo.

A comfortable boutique hotel in a very central spot. Dogs are welcome, including in the cafe attached to the hotel, which works well for breakfast. There are other dog-friendly cafes and bars close by, and Union gardens is about a five-minute walk away for your pooch.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The room was clean, well equipped and seemed recently renovated. I stayed two nights without meeting any staff, as everything was handled through messages and calls, but the instructions were clear and I had no trouble finding the hotel or checking in. There's luggage storage, so you can leave your bags before check-in or after checkout and see the city hands-free. It's right in the city centre, among lots of bars, cafes and restaurants, so weekends could be a bit noisy. I'm a good sleeper, though, and it didn't bother me. The main sights are all walkable. For the price, location and facilities, I'd give it 5/5.

The room was small, even by UK standards, and we had to park in a garage half a mile away. At night it was very loud, with a club next door. The place sits in an alley lined with trash bins. I wouldn't call this a hotel.

Loved the bed, the mattress was firm and really comfy. The room was lovely, and they made the bed every day, which we hadn't expected. The tea and coffee corner was replenished daily too, with several clothes hangers provided. The bathroom was small but had what you needed; there was a little mold in the shower that should be dealt with. The location worked perfectly. Easy to reach from the train/bus station, with lots of buses nearby. We took one to the Highlands. Shops, bars and restaurants were only a short walk away, and we even walked to the beach. Despite all the bars around, it was surprisingly quiet at night. We arrived early and could leave our things until check-in. Shout-out to the lovely cleaning lady!
