The best part of our four nights at Awel y Mor was Colin’s breakfast, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Our sea-view room was pure comfort, especially that wonderfully soft bed, and we loved sitting by the window watching the world pass. Philippa and Colin were so lovely and couldn’t have done more for us. The boutique hotel is beautifully furnished, and it’s almost right on the beach. We’ll definitely be back.

We spent ages unwinding with coffee in the room, looking out over the bay and beach. There are loads of good walks starting right outside the B&B, and Philippa has a whole folder of ideas; the OS app had plenty too. Breakfast was a filling, delicious vegetarian spread, cooked just right, with toast, marmalade, jam, fruit compote and granola. The place is clean, modern, fresh and beautiful, and Philippa and Colin hosted us so warmly. I can’t recommend it enough. Thanks to them for making such a haven by the coast.

We’ve been to Aberdovey plenty of times, but this has become our favourite place to stay. The room was large, spotless and really quiet, and Philippa was such a kind, attentive host. Breakfast was generous and high quality. It’s a great base for south Snowdonia and Aberdovey beach, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

We’d love to return and try one of the front rooms for the view. The room we had was already lovely, comfortable and clean, and Philippa and Colin were friendly, accommodating hosts. Breakfast was delicious, with lots to choose from.

Philippa and Colin made us feel so welcome and were happy to do anything they could to make the stay nicer. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless. A wonderful B&B from beginning to end, and we’ll definitely come back.
