Mill Lodge Brecon Beacons

We felt right at home and would gladly come back. The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described, and our host was thoughtful and quick to respond throughout. They made sure we had everything we needed. A wonderful weekend, highly recommended.

Kelvin's breakfast was delicious, and both Kelvin and Meryl had great suggestions for how to spend our days and what to visit. They were such gracious, welcoming hosts, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Staying at the Mill Lodge was a pleasure. Thank you both, Mini & Kris. We hope to see you again next time.

The house sits in a gorge, with the sound of running water making everything feel peaceful. Inside, it has a lovely homely feel, and the hosts are warm and friendly. We only spent one night at Mill Lodge, but would recommend it for an upgraded B&B experience and a perfectly cooked breakfast.

Breakfast was a real treat, whether you fancy smoked salmon, asparagus, caviar and a poached egg, or a special Full English. The room and bed were very comfortable, with tea and coffee on a tray and fresh milk brought to our door. From the moment we arrived, Kelvin made us feel at home, with a pot of tea ready and plenty of advice about walks, places to eat and the area. Nothing was too much trouble. We thought this accommodation could easily charge nearly double what we paid. Thank you, Kelvin, for making the last part of our holiday so memorable.
