We loved our three nights at Craigellachie Lodge in October. Jodi and Scott were wonderful hosts, and Amber, Rose, and Amy took great care of us in the lodge and restaurant. The pizza, appetizers, and wine were all so good. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff and chef kindly arranged an earlier breakfast for our booked excursions. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and nicely decorated, with everything we needed and plenty of room in the bathrooms. The whole place has a warm atmosphere. We appreciated how kind everyone was and how much they wanted us to have a great stay. We’ll come back as soon as we can.

We had a great time sitting in the bar, enjoying whisky and hearing about the area from the knowledgeable, attentive owners. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, too. This was the best bed and breakfast we’ve stayed in. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay at Craigellachie Lodge. We’d definitely return.

The team made us feel so welcome, and I’m already looking forward to visiting again. The food was delicious, made by hand with fresh Scottish produce. I think those were the best haggis bon bons I’ve ever had. The bar has an excellent whisky selection, plus plenty of alternatives if whisky isn’t your thing, including a fantastic espresso martini.

The whisky bar is outstanding, and we really enjoyed the food as well. The welcome was friendly and warm, so we felt at home right away. It’s a lovely hotel with beautifully considered decor and very comfortable rooms.

This was my second stay with Scott and Jodi, and I’ll be back. The hospitality is excellent, and they know their whisky. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and well appointed, and the toiletries are sensational. Dinner bites and pizzas are very good, while the bar and sitting room are great places to relax and chat with other guests. Breakfast has good options and the quality is consistently there. There are only six rooms, so book well ahead. I’d suggest calling for the personal service rather than using an OTA. Already looking forward to planning my third trip soon.
