Apartment 2 was outstanding, a huge three-bedroom place overlooking the sea. It had a massive lounge, a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of accessories, and two modern, immaculate bathrooms. There was lots of tea and coffee, and the double bedroom was tastefully decorated and spotless. The large bay window made the sea view especially impressive. The old stone wall was kept in the modern decor, and it was beautifully done. The service was outstanding too, and the apartment was clean, quiet and beautiful. I’ve written lots of reviews, but this one is number one. After reading some reviews I’d been a little worried about booking a deluxe room or apartment, but the welcome was warm, and the lovely lady who gave me the key and directions to the apartment was fantastic. Thank you, Four Seasons, for a wonderful stay.

Christmas Eve at this lovely place has become our tradition. We drive up and stay the night, then meet family for a Christmas morning beach walk. The rooms are comfortable, the buffet breakfast is great and the service is lovely. Our dog gets lots of fuss and loves it here. Merry Christmas 🤶

The staff were friendly, but Room 15 was very dirty and had spiders. The carpet was dirty and the bedsheets were covered in hair, which I noticed before lying down. After collecting the key on the first day, I found a towel left in the middle of the corridor; it was still there a day later. Breakfast was a 5/10. The hotel looked so dirty in general that I was afraid to eat. I wouldn’t recommend it.

An old-fashioned hotel with lots of character, in a brilliant location. It’s cheap, cheerful, clean and functional, with a nice bar, good breakfast, and loads of events and parties. The staff were very friendly, though incredibly busy.

I’ve only just arrived and I’m already very disappointed. The hotel is grubby and smells bad. There was no reception staff at 9 pm, even though check-in was advertised until midnight. The bar was shut despite being advertised as open late, and the WiFi didn’t work in either my room or the communal spaces.
