The windows in the room don’t open, so it gets stuffy and sweaty. Parking also costs extra. The staff were lovely, especially the woman chef at breakfast, who was really kind and helpful. The location is good too, right by Tesco and within walking distance of town.

The team were very supportive and clearly made inclusion around dietary needs a priority. Management was professional and attentive, and everything from the room to breakfast was to a high standard. We have family in Abingdon and will choose this hotel over the other local places we’ve stayed.

The location worked really well for going out in Abingdon. It’s a 5 minute taxi ride to the town centre or a 20 minute walk, and Tesco is right next door. The staff were very friendly, and we had a great night’s sleep with no noise to complain about.

The manager was excellent and came to sort out the problems himself. Our room seemed to have been changed and set up for one person, not a family of three: the sofa bed wasn’t made, and there was only one towel and one cup. My daughter had to go to reception twice to get things fixed. The receptionist could only give us one key, which we needed to run the lights as well as access the stairs and lift, leaving two of us in the dark. At dinner, all the staff seemed to ignore our table. After nearly half an hour, I had to go and ask for service.

We were visiting from Australia and stayed for one night. It was our first time at a Premier Inn, and we were pleasantly surprised. Adrian, I believe the manager, greeted us and was super helpful. We ate in the restaurant and had good pub food, with generous portions served hot. We’d definitely stay again.
