Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh

The spa was a real treat for the adults, and the kids enjoyed the pool too. Arica and Julia kindly showed me where to go, and it was such a relaxing experience. Our double room at the Mercure Blackburn was spotless and nicely presented. Sam welcomed us with a really useful guide covering everything we needed, including children's pool times and a WhatsApp contact number. When I messaged with questions, I got a reply within five minutes. Everyone we met was friendly and lovely. We always enjoy staying here, couldn't fault a thing, and will definitely be back. Thank you so much! 💖

Stephen gave us brilliant service and made the break even better. The pool was fantastic, and I was especially impressed by the steam rooms in the spa. We also stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, which was beautifully done and very comfortable. A fantastic stay at a lovely hotel, highly recommend.

Aleshia was so attentive and caring, and tailored my treatment to what I needed. It was my birthday, and the three of us had a lovely spa day with lovely staff. The pool was just the right temperature, and the sauna and steam rooms were good too. The afternoon tea disappointed me, though. There were too many sweet things, and the sandwiches weren't very good. We were hungry, so ate most of it. Tea was at 1:30, after we booked in at 10 and had our treatments and visited the sauna and steam rooms. We couldn't use the pool until later. In my opinion, I'd have chosen a different meal. Still, the day was okay.

The staff in the spa and restaurant were friendly and accommodating, and the food was lovely. I went with our sister circle group for treatments and a meal, and we all had a really enjoyable day. My hot stone shoulder and back massage was amazing, so relaxing. I'd definitely recommend it.
