The food was delicious and fresh, and I really liked that they use local produce. We stopped for lunch on the way through to chillingham and found the bar area lovely and cozy. Everyone was very welcoming. Definitely worth a stop, we'll be back!

Leanne and the staff were really attentive. On Thursday 29th January we shared mussels, the best we've ever had, then had lemon sole with new potatoes and samphire. It was all delicious. Thoroughly recommend!

We dropped into the Percy Arms twice while away at chillingham Castle and felt welcome from the moment we walked in. It's a lovely pub and restaurant, with friendly, helpful staff and amazing food. Portions are generous, everything was tasty, and the prices were very reasonable. A great spot for food and a drink in a friendly setting.

We came in for lunch at 13:45 on Saturday, when every table but one was taken. I ordered one adult beef dinner and one child's. The meal was good quality and tasty, and I was pleasantly surprised to see the children's meal was free, Thursday to Saturday. 👍

My partner is vegetarian and was really impressed by the options on the menu and by her meal. The Percy Arms is in a lovely, quaint village, with a good atmosphere and very good food. Dogs are welcome at the tables in the main bar, though they can't go into the main restaurant. There's a small choice of ales as well as the usual lagers. I'd book ahead, especially for Sunday lunch, as it can get busy.
