She slept brilliantly, and the quiet setting made the visit feel like a real home away from home. An older member of our family stayed here on and off for three weeks while visiting us nearby, and had a wonderful time. The rooms were comfortable, nicely furnished and set in beautiful grounds. Breakfast looked lovely and was fresh and delicious. Thanks to David, Janice, and Christian for making her feel so welcome.

The breakfast really stood out, both the generous portions and the quality, and the service was second to none. There are lots of thoughtful little touches, too. It's a charming B&B with plenty of character, run very professionally. A great find, and easy to reach from the motorway.

The pub next door is cosy and lovely, and the house itself is full of character with lovely rooms. We only stayed one night, but could happily have stayed longer just to keep chatting with David, the wonderful owner. We hope we get a reason to come back, if only for breakfast. Thanks for the hospitality!

The hosts were so helpful when I realised I'd booked the wrong date. I made a mess of the reservation, but they went out of their way to fit us in at the last minute. The rooms were lovely and the location beautiful. We'll definitely stay again, and hopefully have more time there next time.

The grounds were kept beautifully, and looked especially pretty with the evening lights on. We booked the four-poster room for my parents and the garden room for me. Both were beautifully furnished, with big, comfortable beds. David, Janice, and Chris were lovely hosts, and breakfast had loads of choice. Dad said his smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were the best he'd ever had. We even met the friendly resident lion sunning herself in the garden, see photo! There's a nice little village pub nearby, too. We'll use this as our base when visiting family from now on.
