We went to Bournemouth, about 40 minutes away, and stayed here for two nights. The room, bathroom and reception were all clean, fresh and well looked after. We arrived tired on Friday, so ate at the Thyme restaurants. My wife had the sweet and sour prawns, and my 12 year old son chose fish and chips. Everything came hot, crispy and nicely cooked. We liked it enough to eat there again the next night. The Big Stack burgers were just as good, cooked perfectly and not dry. I added bacon to mine, which was well worth it. Breakfast both mornings was a hot, fresh buffet, kept well stocked by attentive staff. We’ll definitely return. Thanks, team Andover.

The staff were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the meal deal was great value. Thanks for a good stay. I’d happily recommend this hotel.

The location is really handy, with plenty of parking and good motorway links, but the hotel needs a proper refurbishment. The room was the usual Premier Inn layout, though everything looked worn and scruffy. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well: black grout, grimy shower seals, dirt around the basin plughole, and streaks all over the mirror and shower screen. In the second room for our group, the basin was blocked too.

I was happy with my stay from beginning to end. Everyone was polite, friendly and welcoming. Emily and Jess stood out as the friendliest and most attentive pair I met while staying at premier inn.

The check-in team did a great job finding me a room that suited my mobility limitations. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and the food was generally good value. Just pack warm clothes if you’re visiting in December, the dining room was really cold.
