The breakfast was a real letdown. It was poor quality and did nothing to make up for such a rough night. Noise from the pub across the road was unbearable, with shouting and music keeping me up until the early hours. It felt like the windows had no soundproofing at all. I honestly can't remember the last time I slept so badly. The whole hotel feels dated, worn and neglected, and everything looks tired and overdue for some TLC.

For a budget hotel in very old buildings, I thought it was okay. The mattress probably needs replacing, though. Staff were kind and brought extra pillows when I asked. There was everything you'd need, including an ironing board, hairdryer and portable heaters if the central heating wasn't enough. Breakfast was good, and the room had a bath with a shower over it. Bath towels were provided, but no hand towels, which makes sense since they'd just go to waste. Parking for cars is free, but you need to register at reception.

The room was damp and had a strong, unpleasant smell the whole time. It was so cramped we could barely open a suitcase and still move around. At over €90 a night, the standard was shockingly poor. I've stayed in hostels that were much cleaner and more comfortable. Our room looked straight onto a car park, so we couldn't open the curtains without people looking in. The toilet seat kept shifting, the bathtub was dirty, and the hot water was only lukewarm at best. Honestly, this was one of the worst hotels we've stayed at. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save your money and avoid the disappointment we had.

The hotel is right in the town centre, near plenty of shops and restaurants, and has guest parking on site. Rooms are clean, nice and reasonably priced, and there's a tasty breakfast buffet in the morning. The staff are lovely. They've been very accommodating to my parents, who have visited often over the past few months. I'd definitely recommend it. 10/10.

The staff here are amazing, really helpful and keen to do all they can for you. Excellent service. I stayed for one night on a work trip, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The location is good, around a 20-minute walk from the station, and there's a car park available.
