Katie, the manageress, made us feel welcome and seemed to be everywhere, taking care of everything. Breakfast was really tasty, and the place was great value for money. We loved our room too, with its view towards the lighthouse and beyond. I could look at that view forever. What a lovely wee find in Port Appin, with gorgeous views across to Lismore and Loch Linnhe. Pick Room 2 if you're fine with stairs.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty on offer and everything freshly cooked. The host was really attentive, and for the price I think this is a great hotel. Our room was cosy and had a beautiful view, though there was quite a bit of dust along the sides and the shower took ages to get hot. I recommend the Old Inn for dinner, it was amazing!

We were only there for one night, but Katie and the hosts were fab. The front rooms and restaurant have amazing views. Our room's hot water wasn't working properly, unfortunately, so we used another room instead since we were the only ones staying. Beautiful place, recommended.

The main issue was the old, worn rooms, especially the bathroom. Check-in was listed as available until 10 pm, then I got a call at 19:45 saying it depended on the restaurant's hours. How was I supposed to know that? That's not my problem, and although the staff waited, the information for guests wasn't good. On the plus side, the bedsheets were nice and large, the bed was clean, and the morning staff were very friendly and thoughtful.

Katie deserves special thanks for diligently shipping my forgotten car key back to my home. Many, many thanks! We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The rooms were comfortable and beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent.
