Our first visit, and it made for a perfect birthday meal. Luke b was attentive without being overbearing, and chef Matt cooked my steak just right. Can't wait to come back!

Jack and Thierry took such thoughtful care of the visually and mobility impaired group our charity brought for lunch. They were engaging, and everyone enjoyed the delicious dishes. We'll certainly book again in future. Many thanks.

My son and his now wife chose the hotel for their wedding, and the setting was beautiful, just right for the number of guests and wonderful for photos. Staff were very polite and helpful, the facilities were perfect, and the day ran smoothly. The wedding breakfast was amazing: huge roast potatoes, crisp outside and fluffy inside, chicken that fell off the bone, plenty of vegetables to share at each table, and delicious cheesecake presented beautifully. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for the night, including a hairdryer. Breakfast the next morning was well cooked and more than enough to set us up for the day. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a lovely wedding setting. Thank you for making such a memorable day.

We booked a room as a treat while attending a wedding at this venue. The reception area stayed clean through the day, the wedding food was very nice, and staff were attentive. Breakfast the next morning spoiled the experience. Our order was taken promptly, but the food took over an hour and 10 minutes to arrive, even after we politely followed up. Nobody apologised or explained the delay. If you're attending a wedding here, it may be worth arranging somewhere else to stay.
