Board games were available, and we really liked the relaxed atmosphere. We were a fairly large family group, and the pub managed to meet everyone’s individual needs. They made us feel very welcome during our three nights, and we’d love to return.

We came for two nights while Christmas shopping in Street and plan to make it an annual trip. The pub has a great atmosphere, just like a village local should. The staff were very friendly, the host was brilliant, and the locals made us feel welcome. Good food, including a great breakfast, and excellent value for money. See you next year.

We had a lovely time with our friends at the Old Pound in. The beds were lively and comfy, breakfast was fab, and it was really good value for money. The staff were amazing and so friendly. Thank you, The old pound Inn.

I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t speak about the rooms. The Christmas lunch was beautiful and everything was perfection. The staff were wonderfully attentive, and the local farmers’ banter made me laugh. What a wonderful place full of equally wonderful people. Lea, the host, you’re a star and a treasure. Thank you so much for a lovely day.

I didn’t use the rooms, but had Sunday lunch: roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, six varieties of fresh vegetables, and plenty of gravy on the side. Thank you 👍
