The Stag Hotel

We often visit Banchory, but this was our first hotel stay there, for four nights. The hotel is very beautiful and deserves more stars. It was clean, the rooms were spacious and cozy, and I felt completely comfortable. They were freshly made up every day. We didn't have time to try the pub because our schedule was tight, but it was busy and inviting every evening. Next time we'll definitely have a drink or meal there. The rooms are farther back, so you don't hear much from the pub. We picked the hotel for its location on the main street, near lots of shops, with a supermarket just across the road and a bus stop right at the door. I'd definitely choose it again. Thanks for a great stay!

The rooms are OK, clean, and have comfortable beds, but don't expect a good night's sleep at The Stag Hotel. The pub downstairs keeps you awake on weekdays as well as weekends.

Just moved here and haven't tried the food yet, but it's the best pub in town. Cracking pint and a friendly atmosphere.

Stopped in for a pint and found the bar staff helpful and the locals friendly. The log burner was glowing, the drinks were refreshing 🍸 🍺, and dogs are welcome 😀
