Shelleven House

We had a lovely stay, and the hosts were awesome. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, breakfast was great, and it's easy to walk into town or down to the marina. We'd stay here again.

Shelleven House suits me best. It's only a short walk from the Marina and Bangor centre, and has parking, good wi-fi, great coffee, a super shower, and delicious food. The place is peaceful and spotless, the beds are comfortable, and everyone is very friendly. Best place I've stayed in Bangor NI!

Paul and Sue know the area well and are such good company, the sort of people you could spend hours swapping travel stories with over a couple of pints. The room was clean, spacious and cozy, with the car park right outside, and breakfast was great. Bangor is a nice town for a few days in Northern Ireland. This is a good base for Belfast and the surrounding area, and you won't regret staying here.

Sue managed to check us in early when my husband and I arrived ahead of schedule, and she was so accommodating. We hadn't been to Bangor before, so her local suggestions were really helpful. Paul was just as friendly and knowledgeable about Bangor and Belfast. They clearly put a lot of care into making guests comfortable. The rooms were lovely and very clean. I loved seeing fresh flowers in the foyer whenever we came in, and it was easy to come and go. There was plenty of travel information, and all the thoughtful details made things run smoothly. Breakfast was well worth including. The food was excellent, service was quick, and the dining staff were friendly. Having breakfast there each morning saved us time. We had a lovely stay at Shelleven House. It's close to the seaside and just minutes from the trains, so I'd happily book again and recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, clean place to stay.
