Hempstead House Hotel & Spa

The spa was calm and well cared for, just right for unwinding, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. We found the whole place peaceful, with elegant grounds and spacious, spotless, very comfortable rooms where the details had clearly been considered. Staff were friendly and professional, and every person we met seemed genuinely caring. A memorable, luxurious stay from start to finish. We can’t wait to return.

The room upgrade and the towel swans on the bed were lovely surprises, and they even put birthday confetti at dinner. Staff made us feel very welcome and were attentive throughout. We also really enjoyed the spa and the amazing food. We had a lovely birthday stay and will definitely come back. Thank you!

The quiet setting made it ideal for relaxing, and the rooms were spacious, spotless and tastefully furnished, with quality bedding and the amenities I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. From the moment I arrived, the warm lighting, classic decor and welcoming scent helped the elegant atmosphere feel peaceful and comfortable. The pool area was clean and calm, and the sauna and steam room were well maintained. Staff were kind and professional, and the treatments felt high quality, with premium products and real therapeutic benefits. Dining was another highlight, with fresh, flavourful food presented beautifully. Service across the hotel was consistently excellent, attentive without getting in the way. I’d recommend Hempstead House to anyone after a refined, relaxing experience in Kent. Each visit feels like a short holiday, and the staff’s care brings the stay up to a 5-star standard.

There was a thoughtful little surprise waiting in our room that made the stay feel extra special. We had another lovely visit to Hempstead House, as always. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and they were more than happy to help with our requests. Nothing felt like too much trouble.
