Dayle was so helpful, and we had a great one-night stay. Our room was lovely, with a sea view. We both enjoyed the burgers for dinner, and breakfast was very nice too. We'll be back 😁

There's a good choice of cask and keg ales and beers, along with equally good wines. The food is mostly pub-style burgers. The pub is named after a famous explorer who lived in the area. Inside it's small, with varied seating, and there's a terrace open in summer. The staff are very friendly.

For our one-night stay, the full cooked breakfast menu was the icing on the cake. The staff were accommodating and the service excellent. Our room was modern, clean and had everything we needed. A great place to stay.

It was very quiet when we went into this nice little bar, so there wasn't much atmosphere. Still, the drinks were nice, the staff friendly, and the setting pleasant. I wouldn't be put off coming back.

The rooms were large and modern, with a massive bathroom. Cleanliness, hospitality, price, rooms and food were all top notch. This hidden gem of a hotel was truly amazing.
