After walking four miles to see the nearby waterfalls, we had a meal in the bar. The menu had plenty of choice and the food was great, especially the tasty triple-cooked chips and lovely puddings. Service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable.

The French onion soup is well worth trying, and the prices are fantastic for food this good. We came with the family and dog, and the dog menu made us giggle. The staff were wonderful. We’d planned a long walk, but after eating so much we gave it a miss! We can’t wait to come back and try more of the amazing menu.

We spent two evenings here, first having drinks in the pub on Friday, then dinner in the restaurant the next night. The food was so good, the service was excellent, and the staff were welcoming, fun and wonderful company. The locals were great to chat with too. It’s very dog friendly, and we can’t wait to return.

The restaurant is on another level from the usual pub grub, though I think you can get that next door in the bar if that’s what you’re after. We’ve eaten here several times and the food has been amazing each time. The friendly staff and reasonable prices are great for this quality. Fab place, and I’m looking forward to going back.

We had a lovely two-night stay, and the food was the best we’ve ever had. Karen the housekeeper couldn’t have been more helpful, and James, the bartender and waiter, was so friendly. Frank the French was brilliant company, as were his wife and daughter, the wonderful chefs. We loved our stay, and it was worth every penny. Thank you!
