Chestnuts House

What a fab weekend. The owner, Tony, is a lovely man, the beds were great, and the room was nice and cosy. Breakfast was fantastic and the attention to detail deserves five stars. Bath is a great place too. We’ll stay there again if we come back.

Tony was so hospitable over our two-night stay for Valentine's weekend. We were hugely impressed, and grateful that nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were immaculate, and we really appreciated the sweet treats. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and catered for food intolerances brilliantly. We’ll definitely be back!

We chose Chestnuts House for a one-night stay this week while helping a relative with a hospital visit, rather than for a holiday. I’m glad we did. It was a lovely place, with spotless, comfortable rooms and a very nice breakfast. The host was a lovely chap, friendly and professional. We’re very likely to stay again and highly recommend it.

Toni made us an exceptional breakfast, then surprised my husband with a box of delicious Belgian chocolates in our room when he learned it was his birthday. That was so kind. All the staff were excellent, warm and friendly, while staying professional. My husband and I spent two nights at this lovely, relaxing B&B and had an amazing time. It’s in a calm area beside a big park, yet still close to the centre. Our room was lovely, clean and had all the features listed. The whole stay was wonderful. Highly recommend!
