Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and a lovely continental selection. The staff were fantastic, attentive, friendly and welcoming throughout. Free parking on site was a big bonus, and it’s about a 10-minute walk into Bath. Our room at Grays Boutique B&B was beautiful, with a four-poster bed and gorgeous views over the city. It was spotlessly clean, and the robes and slippers were a lovely extra. The old building has lots of charm, though you can hear guests in the room above if it’s occupied. That wasn’t a big issue for us, just something to know. It’s a perfect location and we’d definitely stay again.

Room 9, the smallest loft room, was just right for sleeping and washing, and the bedding and towels were lovely and comfortable. Grays Boutique B&B is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean, with friendly, attentive hosts and tasty fresh breakfasts. The coffee is delightful! We’ve just had three peaceful nights here and don’t have any negative points. There’s space for one car per room, and we easily found a space when we arrived, though the driveway entrance is tight and larger vehicles may struggle. The street is quiet and we had no noise disturbances. Yes, it’s on a hill, but the whole city of Bath is hilly. If you’d rather not drive into town, there’s a bus stop two minutes away. The 171 or 173 goes straight to Bath Bus Station for £2.50, only two stops away, and it’s much cheaper than a taxi. You can take the same buses back up the hill, or walk if you’re fit and eager. We’d definitely stay again if we come back to Bath. Thank you.

The room was comfortable and clean, with an amazing view over Bath. Getting into the city centre takes about 15-20 minutes on foot, and the walk back is a bit longer because of the steep hill. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the portions were spot on. Parking was the only slight downside, as there wasn’t much room to manoeuvre, though I appreciate that’s out of the B&B’s hands. My parents stayed at Grays for a few days last year and gave it a glowing review, so we picked this B&B for our honeymoon. We got a very warm welcome, and when we mentioned our honeymoon, they kindly said there’d be a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us to collect later. Such a personal touch!

The traditional breakfast was cooked perfectly, hot, and served with lovely service. There was also a buffet option. The room was very clean and comfortable, and parking and WiFi are available if needed. It’s a short walk into town. The lady was so welcoming and helpful with local advice, and nothing was too much trouble. A beautiful place to relax. Thank you.

The place is beautifully decorated and immaculate, with a huge comfortable bed, a well-stocked courtesy tray, and great views from the windows. The staff are polite and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The only slight downside was having just a high-level shower when I didn’t want to wash my hair, and I’m not keen on shower caps because they aren’t great. The walk into the fabulous town took 25 minutes rather than the advertised 10. Even so, it’s such a beautiful place that I’d stay again for sure.
