The gym was a nice bonus, with a good range of machines, weights, and space to stretch. I used it a couple of times. The breakfast was good and plentiful, and the breakfast team were especially friendly, approachable, and proactive. We stayed for three nights and walked to all the sights because the location is hard to beat. Our queen rooms were neat and smart, with good bathrooms, and felt very comfortable for a short stay. There was even a little room for a table and chairs. Everything felt bright, new, and well appointed, though I wouldn’t choose it for the views or quirky design. The WiFi worked well. I’d definitely stay here again.

The breakfast room was bedlam when we were there, with so many guests packed in. Apart from that, we had a good stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, practical, and had all the necessary bits and bobs. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were friendly. The location is good, between the car parks and main attractions, but the nearby car parks fill up fast and get very busy, especially when rugby is on, so plan ahead.

The one drawback was the nearest car park, which is a five-minute walk and might be an issue for some. Otherwise, the room was clean and well laid out, with a very comfortable bed. Staff were really friendly, the lounge was nice, and service at the bar was efficient. Breakfast was excellent, including a fresh self-serve waffle iron.

The breakfast was fresh and offered plenty of choice, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. As a Hilton loyalty member, I also appreciated getting a text from reception to check that everything was okay with my room and stay. The hotel is very central, near parking and some great bars and restaurants. I’ll definitely stay again.
