Indigo Bath, an IHG Hotel

We booked last minute while on the train to Bath, and the hotel was really accommodating. It’s brilliantly located, about five minutes’ walk from the station if that. They’ve recently started allowing dogs, and were fantastic with ours: a dog bed, water bowl, and a welcome gift with treats, a toy, and bags. Our room was clean and a good size, tucked away with direct access through a side door, so we could take Wilbur out to the toilet in our PJs without walking through the hotel. We tried Beau Bar, which welcomes dogs too. The cocktails were fantastic and properly made, the food was lovely, and the warm bread and butter are a must. Great atmosphere, good prices for the quality, and we met some other guests there. The staff were the best. Everyone remembered Wilbur’s name and greeted him so warmly that he loved wandering around the hotel just to find them. We can’t wait to stay again, and Wilbur can’t wait either. Thank you!

The breakfast wasn’t worth the money, and that was the only thing keeping this from a five out of five. The rooms were exquisite and the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly all through my stay, and the location is handy, near the city centre and train station. I’d recommend the hotel to someone else.

The location made exploring Bath really easy, with everything we wanted to reach no more than a 15-minute walk away. We only booked two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was clean and roomy, and that bathtub was incredible. Everyone was lovely, and reception gave us a map and tips for what to see as soon as we arrived. A beautiful little hotel with great service. I'd happily recommend it.

We’ll definitely come back. It’s handy for the car park and just a short walk from the town centre. Tracy was so lovely when she checked us in, and Joe in the restaurant was a delight. The room was immaculate and charming, the service was top notch, and the food was amazing. Big kudos to all the staff, highly recommend!
