The location was good, the breakfast was nice, and the housekeeper was lovely and sympathetic. But it was my wife's birthday and I'd recently had a heart attack, and when we arrived on the Jan 11th weekend there was no heating. We were told it wouldn't come on until 4pm. We sat freezing in our coats even after it was switched on, and ended up going to Tescos at night to buy an electric blanket. The housekeeper also gave us a portable heater. I contacted the owners, but they didn't reply to my email or answer the phone, and there was no contact after our stay either. They didn't consider any part refund. The owners seem like money grabbers with no interest in their visitors.

The rooms have plenty of character and we were well looked after. It's a comfortable, unusual but delightful place, well located for visiting a range of spots along the Suffolk coast. Breakfasts were excellent.

There was tons of space in the family room for two adults and two kids. Breakfast was ready within minutes in the morning, just order the night before and say what time you want it. The people running the place are lovely and friendly, and it feels more relaxed than a hotel. Absolutely fantastic, get it booked.

The setting is stunning, and the rustic stable still has its original features. The beds were comfy and breakfast was amazing. If you want to feel like a Lord, this is the place. Couldn't ask more of the hosts, absolutely excellent, 10/10.

Our room was enormous, clean and extremely comfortable, and the hosts, Katie and Alan, welcomed us into their home. The quiet location was ideal for visiting local places. Breakfast was fresh, beautifully cooked and plentiful, with a great choice.
