Mitchell Hall gives you more for your money than the other place to stay in Cranfield. The rooms are more spacious and the showers are better, while the service is the same as at the CDC for a fraction of the price. The restaurant also accepts the student discount. If CDC offers it too, no one offered it to me. CDC is more refined in style, but unless you're staying longer than the university days, I'd choose Mitchell Hall. Of the two locations, it's definitely the better value.

The staff were welcoming and offered excellent service. The restaurant and bar were great too, with lovely food and drinks and a nice atmosphere indoors and outside. Mitchell Hall was a wonderful experience. It's not too far from the city, and the Cranfield University surroundings are great, with walkways and lots of parking. I wouldn't hesitate to book.

The food was really great, and the prices were even better. The staff were friendly too. I'd stay there anytime.

Mitchell Hall Hotel is a pleasant, convenient place, and the younger staff came across as warm and helpful. The more mature reception staff, though, seemed to miss a very basic part of customer service: a smile. That small gesture can make a real difference to how welcoming a place feels, and its absence stood out.

The hotel has several lounges and the room was a good size, with a big, useful wardrobe. Its facilities were comfortable. The bathroom was modern, a good size, and very clean, with facilities that looked new. I'd rate the cleanliness 9/10. Breakfast had an OK range of food, though I think it could be better.
