Rio Rita Hotel - B&B

Pip, the welcoming canine host, was a lovely touch, and the hosts were lovely too. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and the bar in the lounge. Our room was warm and clean with plenty of storage. The place is well situated near the seafront, yet far enough away to be peaceful.

The location is good if you can look past the problems. I stayed two nights in August 2018, and it was an okay little B&B for what I paid. The bathroom was dusty, with mould on the ceiling around the shower cubicles and hairs on the floor. They do a daily clean, but it felt pointless, a do not disturb or clean my room sign would be useful. Breakfast was okay, though service was slow when we wanted more toast, tea or coffee. The rooms were very hot, so we had to buy a fan.

Pip the dog was lovely, and the breakfast was amazing. John and Janice were polite, friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel and our room were very clean. We stay there every time we visit Blackpool and wouldn't choose anywhere else. We'd stay again.

John and Janice are awesome hosts, and Pip the dog is great. They feel just like family. The accommodation is great, and the yummy breakfast sets us up for the day.
