Beechlawn House Hotel

The food was nice, but I wouldn't recommend eating here. I was left at the door for 5 - 10 minutes, then told to sit at a table without being shown where it was. The guests at the next table were vaping indoors, and the foul smell drifted over while we were trying to eat. A staff member was talking to them as they vaped.

The staff were attentive and friendly, and both the DJ and band had entertainment for everyone. The parts of the hotel I saw were clean and well maintained, though we didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the bedrooms. At the Christmas Party on 5th December, we'd pre-ordered from a good choice of food. The soup and main came piping hot, the roast beef was very tender, and the vegetables were cooked just right. The Christmas pudding was moist, and the portions were generous. Best dinner I've had at a Christmas do. I'll definitely be back at the Beechlawn.

A decent hotel for the price. Check-in was very quick, and my room was clean with tea and coffee, a TV and hair dryer. I stayed one night and was happy with it. I'd recommend it 😉

I went for a wedding and loved the whole stay and area. The wedding and food were lovely, the pub and restaurant in the hotel had a great atmosphere, and breakfast was included and fantastic. The hotel is super clean, right down to the spindles on the stair banisters, which I saw being cleaned. Staff couldn't do enough for you, and Lisa gave me a warm welcome when I arrived. My recently refurbished room was cosy, clean, warm and very quiet, with a lovely comfy bed. You can get to the airport or Belfast in 15 mins. The area felt clean and safe, with a Tesco a stones throw away and a lovely hairdresser who fit me in for a wash and blow dry at short notice. I also enjoyed a daily run. Thanks to everyone!
