Ibis Belfast City Centre

We were in Belfast for a few days for my stag-do with the groomsmen, and felt very comfortable around the hotel. The staff were friendly, approachable and patient, with a fair tolerance for the groomsmen’s “activities”. There are plenty of good pubs and places to visit just a short walk away. Thanks, Ibiz Staff. I’d stay again on another Belfast visit.

The best part of the night was the entertainment from the night shift. Huge thanks to Sara and Jonny, who were funny, chatty and accommodating, and made it so much fun. I’ve never had a better time at a hotel or bar. They even made us a ham and pineapple pizza at 12am, which tells you what a good time we had. I’d come back just for them. The hotel itself was cheap and comfortable, with a spacious enough room, comfortable beds and a great shower. There was a little condensation on the windows. For the price, the 24-hour pizza, bar and breakfast were fantastic.

I wasn’t keen on the plastic bathrooms, but the bed was comfy, the location was good and the staff were lovely. My husband was in awful pain on our first night, and Jonny and another staff member were so helpful. At 3.45am they even took me to the shop next door to get painkillers for him. I found lots of the staff helpful: Sara helped with Tavel and the lovely food, and Ygor at the bar and Scott helped with the TV, switched it to sports and served us. The staff really make a hotel for me.

The location is great, about a five-minute walk to everything we needed. Staff were wonderful and helpful, and the rooms were clean, modern and had everything for a short visit. There was a fantastic selection at the breakfast buffet, and it was good value for money. We’d have no hesitation recommending it and would definitely stay again.
