Free overnight parking was a nice extra, and the bar meal was good value and tasted very good. The room was comfortable and clean, with tea and coffee facilities. Every member of staff was helpful and friendly. It’s only about a five minute drive from the airport, so it worked really well for an early flight. I’d stay again in the same situation.

The bed was super comfy and the room was really clean, which I notice as I work as a cleaner. Breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were attentive and friendly. We had a great one night stay, with just a short walk to Bp pulse live to see James Arthur, who was brilliant. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

We’ve used this hotel twice, at the start and end of our holiday, since it’s handy for both the airport and the NEC. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the overnight parking was free. Breakfast was good and fairly priced for the range, and the bar food was good too. There’s a restaurant with a bigger food selection, though we didn’t try it, and we didn’t get to use the leisure facilities either. The room was comfortable and fine for a night. We’d use it again when our flight times aren’t convenient.

The bar was fine, the food was great, and there was a good range of 0% drinks, so we had plenty to choose from. Check in and checkout were smooth, parking was free, and the AMPR worked. We paid a reasonable £60+ for one night, but when there’s an exhibition at NEC the price seems to triple to £180+ a night. I understand businesses want to earn more on event nights, but I definitely wouldn’t say it’s worth £180. There were lots of small things that could have been better. The room was clean and the bedding fresh, but the bed was really hard. It was freezing when I arrived because the window had been left wide open in the middle of winter, and the room never properly warmed up. The towel rail didn’t work, so it didn’t warm the bathroom either. I had a bath, but the soap dispenser was fixed to the wall so high that it was only reachable from the shower. I ended up pumping some into a mug to wash in the bath. The room had tea and coffee, plus Biscoff biscuits, which was a bonus, but no sweetener and no hot chocolate. Small things, but they add up. My colleague also had to change rooms because the toilet was leaking. We didn’t use the restaurant, so I can’t comment on it.
