Radisson Blu Birmingham Hotel

I’ve stayed here a couple of times for work and have enjoyed each visit. It’s a handy spot, about a five-minute walk from Birmingham New Street Station, with shops and restaurants close by. This time I had a great view of the Holloway Circus roundabout. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast had a nice range of fresh fruit and pastries, as well as the usual English and Irish fry-up. I’ll stay here next time I need to be in central Birmingham.

The food was cold and made with cheap produce, especially for such a high price. That was a letdown, because I loved the place otherwise. Our suite was spotless and great value, the bed was so comfortable, and the staff were fantastic.

The hotel itself was beautiful, but the staff are what made the stay unforgettable. Hajar quickly sorted out a small TV problem on our first night and was incredibly helpful. Emilia handled both our check-in and check-out, and was friendly and thorough, explaining what was available and making sure our parking was arranged. We stayed 15/01 - 17/01. Thank you!

This hotel has sentimental value for us, so the stay was especially disappointing. We’d paid for late check-out, but loud shouting and fighting from the room above woke us at 5 AM. After we reported it to reception, we overslept and asked for another 30 minutes to pack and get ready. Olivia came to our room and was rude and confrontational. She held the door open while we were half-dressed, then stepped into the room during a private moment. The lack of professionalism and customer care was upsetting given what this hotel means to us. We hope management addresses it so future guests have a better experience.
