Radisson Blu Hotel, Birmingham

I’ve stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel Birmingham three times now, and it keeps getting better. The booking was smooth, including a special request that was acknowledged and handled well before I arrived. That proactive communication made a real difference. The location is right in the heart of Birmingham, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and transport. There’s a drop-off point outside, and secure parking just a two-minute walk away, which made driving easy. The rooms are spacious, modern, spotless and comfortable, with lovely city views from the higher floors. The hotel feels calm and stylish, and it’s well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of fresh, high-quality choices. Reception were warm, professional and efficient, and everyone else I met was just as friendly and helpful. They clearly care about the guest experience. Comfort, service, location and attention to detail have all been consistently strong, so it’s become one of my go-to hotels in Birmingham. I’d happily recommend it.

The hotel was beautiful, but the staff are what made our stay unforgettable. Emilia handled both check-in and check-out, was friendly and helpful, and made sure we knew what was available and that our parking was sorted. We stayed 15/01 - 17/01. There was a small problem with the TV on our first night. Hajar was incredibly helpful and quickly went above and beyond to get it resolved. Thank you!

We picked the Radisson Blu for its sentimental value, so it was especially disappointing to be treated this way. We had paid for a late check-out, but loud fighting and shouting from the room above woke us at 5 AM. After reporting it to reception, we ended up oversleeping and asked for another 30 minutes to pack and get ready. Olivia from reception came to our room and was extremely rude and confrontational. With us half-dressed, she held the door open and then stepped inside during a private moment. The lack of professionalism and customer service was very disappointing. I hope management addresses this so future guests have a better experience.

Markos at the front desk remembered exactly which room I like, checked me in straight away and even sent up special treats. I felt so welcome and looked after. The whole team made my stay wonderful, but Markos really went above and beyond. His hospitality turned my day around. I can’t recommend the hotel and its staff enough.
