The pool was a big hit with the children, and the hotel had a family-friendly feel throughout. It got busy at times, as you’d expect during peak family periods. Breakfast had plenty of choice, and the staff were friendly and quick to handle our questions politely. We were a family of four at the Dalmeny Hotel, two adults and two children, and had a really enjoyable break. The seafront setting on the promenade made it easy to get to the beach, shops and cafés, and having parking available was a real plus. Our room was clean, had comfortable beds and enough space for a family, with everything we needed. Parts of the hotel are a little dated, but well kept and tidy. We thought it was good value for a relaxed seaside break in Lytham St Annes. We’d happily return and recommend it to families.online slots

Steve behind the upstairs bar deserves a mention. He worked incredibly hard all night, never seemed to stop, and made our group feel welcome. We really appreciated how friendly he was. We booked the one-night all-inclusive deal and thought it was absolutely worth the money. The food was excellent, the free drinks selection was ample, the pool was great, and there was entertainment in-house. The gym looked good too, though I didn’t try it. Nothing felt missing.

The food is always lovely and the portions are generous. My New Year’s resolution to lose weight didn’t last long, and the Saturday entertainment kept us up later than planned, with more drinks too. The team were wonderful with our little one, who also loves the kids’ club and all the arts and crafts. We’ve stayed many times over the last five years, and each visit gets better. We never want to go home, which is rather distressing for the whole family, so we end up booking an extra night. Reception have always been helpful and obliging, and the rate has been very reasonable. They’re lovely, but a terrible influence, lol! From arrival to leaving, everyone makes you feel welcome. You leave full, happy, rested and entertained, already wanting to book again. A few shout-outs: Alicia always makes our stays special. Keiron is a legend. The whole entertainment team are fab as ever. Ruby is lovely, professional and attentive. And the lovely blonde lady at the bar, sorry I didn’t get your name. Really, all the staff are fabulous. Thanks for everything xxxx

The parking can be tight, but if the first areas are full there’s a third one behind the hotel, so you should find a space. Nearly all the rooms can be reached by ramp or lift for disabled access. One of our rooms, set up for a larger family, had big beds and a bunk bed with so much room you could have had a dance floor. It was beside the Atrium room, though, and there was a party there one night. This was our first visit to the Dalmeny, and we expected an average hotel, food and facilities. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, modern, very clean room and the pleasant welcome. The amenities were impressive, on a par with a high-star hotel. Restaurant food was fresh, hot and good, and the staff were excellent. Bar prices were reasonable compared with other hotels. Our party had several rooms, including one for three. Great experience, and the inclusive package is worth doing. Would I go again? Yes.

We booked seven rooms for a family gathering spanning ages 11 months to 92 years. From talking through room locations before arrival to checking in, everything went brilliantly. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities worked perfectly for our whole group. Thanks to everyone at the Dalmeny for making our special time together run smoothly. We’ll be back as our family grows.
