I had a really nice stay around the beginning of June last year, and loved my room. It was clean and quiet enough, and I had everything I needed. Cathy and her hubby were really nice, and I enjoyed breakfast every day. I meant to leave feedback then. I’d planned to return with my daughter a few weeks later but couldn’t. I’m dying to get back to Blackpool, and I’ll definitely stay here again. It’s also not too far to walk to the promenade, shops or train station.

Good location, and Kathy was a very pleasant lady. The dining room and lounge were very nice, but I was disappointed by the twin room, which was very outdated, as was the reception area. Breakfast was adequate and cooked nicely, but there wasn’t any choice. I was very disappointed that tea, coffee and especially milk weren’t replenished each day. There was also very little communication. My last review disappeared.

Cathy does everything she can to make your stay pleasant. Hazelgrove Guesthouse feels like a family home where you’re treated as an honoured guest, with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. It was all very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The shower was clean and worked well. Breakfast was lovely, too, with fresh pots of tea and an offer of extra toast.

I booked a room for the Airshow in February and was told the booking was confirmed. When I stayed at the property in March this year, I checked again and was assured it was still booked for August and the Airshow. I’ve just called to double-check, only to be told I no longer have a booking. This happened to me last year for the Airshow too. The lady owner was very rude and just said it was tough, even though the booking had been confirmed twice. The service is rubbish and the property seems very badly organised. Don’t bother booking here, go somewhere else.

We absolutely loved our stay at he hazel grove. Kathy and Eddie were lovely and kind, and made it really pleasant. Our room was huge and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a full English, cooked just how we liked it. Couldn’t fault it at all.😁😁😁😁😁😁
