The staff made us feel like old friends and were brilliant throughout our three-night family stay. Breakfast was really nice, and we had a fantastic time overall. My sister and I shared a clean, very comfortable twin room, though the WiFi could have been better. The beach is only a two-minute walk away. The main attractions further along the promenade are about 20 minutes on foot, but that distance is reflected in the very reasonable price. Being away from the busiest area also made things feel more relaxed. One unfortunate thing happened: my stepdad’s car was hit while parked on the narrow street outside. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but parking around there isn’t ideal. The staff told us straight away and offered to help however they could, which we really appreciated. We’d definitely return, maybe without the car next time.

We had everything we needed in our family room for a two-night stay. It was spotless, and the beds were soft and comfortable. The owner was friendly and happy to answer our questions. We’d stay again.

Marie n Grant, the owners, were great fun, and the other guests were nice too. We slept brilliantly both nights and had excellent breakfasts in the mornings. The room was brilliant, with an amazing en suite, and the location is great. We’ll be back and would recommend this hotel.

We’re here as a couple for a week, and our room is spacious with a partial sea view and tasteful decor. The bed is so soft and lovely that we slept for more than 12 hours straight! The people here are very nice, and they’re happy to bring more towels or tea, coffee, sugar, and milk when we need them. We’re close to everything and already planning another week here in winter.

The breakfast choices, both cereal and cooked, were good, and it was freshly made to order. The time slot, 9 to 9:30am, was very restrictive and didn’t leave much room to get out and enjoy the day. Grant was welcoming, though we only really saw him at breakfast. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the promenade, with paid parking a few yards away. We got a warm welcome and a decent room with a comfy bed. Nothing to rave about, but it was good. The bathroom was small and could use a lick of paint. I’ve given four stars with a push because I didn’t want to be too hard on the guest house. For a short Blackpool stay, I’d come back.
