The beds were comfortable, breakfast was lovely (we paid extra for it), and the hosts were courteous and easy to approach. It’s also an easy walk to the attractions. But I’m still dealing with parking fines months later. I arrived after 9pm for a Pleasure Beach trip for my daughter’s birthday, staying 15th Aug - 17th Aug. The street was poorly lit and the car park entrance was so dark and narrow that I accidentally parked at the neighbouring hotel for a few minutes before noticing. At Wave crest, I paid £20 cash and entered my details on a digital device for parking. Later, I received two fines, one from Wave crest and one from the hotel next door. The owner offered to contact the fine issuer and asked me to email the details, but I’ve had no update and the letters are still coming.

The breakfast was good value and cooked how we liked it. Our room was clean and tidy, with coffee-making facilities, a kettle and an iron. The co-owners greeted us at the front door and made us feel very welcome. We had a great time and would definitely stay again. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

A nice, clean, roomy hotel, with friendly and helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for us. It’s family-run and well placed just off the seafront, close to the attractions and easy to get around from. Breakfast was nice and good value too. I’d stay again and recommend it.

Breakfast was amazing, definitely a must. The room was really clean, the bed was comfy, and everything smelled fresh. The couple who run the place were lovely and looked after my son, even giving him a drink and a free lollipop. For the prices they charge, I’d say anyone staying here is lucky. It’s about a minute from the beach, with Sandcastle and Pleasure Beach close by.

I’ve stayed here several times and have always had a lovely time. The couple are welcoming and helpful, the beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. It’s in a great location, and I’ve never had any problems here. Already looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you ☺️
