Bayswater House

There’s no parking at the property, but a reasonably priced car park is just a couple of minutes away on foot. The location is great, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was really nice and had a good selection. Brilliant place to stay.

We were there for two nights for the northern soul weekend. The location was ideal, and breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked. Would recommend, and we’ll be back next year.

Room 8 was large, spotless and had nice toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful, with a cooked option made to order. We had a fantastic stay, and the location was brilliant, close to all amenities. I’ll definitely stay again and recommend it to family and friends.

The owner was really friendly and pleasant, and nothing was too much trouble. The other staff member was friendly too, and they both made us feel welcome. It’s a great spot, around a 5-10 minute walk to the prom and beach and 15-20 minutes from the station. Our room was a good size and had the things we needed: a chair, drawers, bedside table, wardrobe and plenty of plug sockets around the room, not hidden behind cupboards. Breakfast was good home cooking, with lots of cereal choices, plenty of toast and a choice of main breakfasts. If you didn’t want something, it could be swapped for something else without any fuss. A great little hotel in a good location with lovely staff.
