The Old Cross Inn

The best part was the cozy main bedroom, with plenty of space, nice decor and complimentary tea and coffee. The bed was comfortable, and having a restaurant and pub downstairs was handy. The Oreo chocolate cake special was huge and absolutely divine, and staff were welcoming and helpful. The bathroom was okay, though it looked cheaply renovated. The electric shower had low pressure, as usual, and no door, with little room for toiletries. There was space for a table in the bedroom but no table, and the bed linen was worn and marked. The chicken main was tasty, but the portion was a bit small. A very good stay for an inn, with a good restaurant and pub downstairs.

A tasty restaurant downstairs, with good coffee and a bar. It's a lovely family-run hotel, and the rooms are comfortable, spacious and have everything you need. I'd recommend it as a place to stay in Blairgowrie.

The food was excellent and the menu was nice. We booked a meal with dogs in the bar area, where there are only a couple of tables for eating with dogs. The staff were great.

The Scottish breakfast was worth every penny, especially the Stornaway black pudding and proper butcher sausages. My daughter had pancakes with fresh strawberries and Nutella, and those were excellent too. Everything was high quality, hot and fresh. The restaurant was quiet when we went, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.
